Smith and Syberg was founded in 1989 in Columbus, Indiana. As an executive search firm, our pattern of success is based upon our firm's philosophy to form collaborative, long term relationships with the clients we serve. Our search expertise is utilized for senior and executive management positions. Clients range from small, entrepreneurial growth companies to Fortune 500 corporations. Our industrial segment includes manufacturing, distribution, utilities, and medical products. Additional segments include airlines, financial/professional services, and not-for-profit. We are a member firm in AESC (Association of Executive Search Consultants, Inc.), the premier association representing executive consulting firms worldwide. In addition to executive search, Smith and Syberg offers Selection Consulting Services to assist companies with recruitment strategy, sourcing, evaluation and hiring of critical employees. Keith has a BA in Communications and a MA in Educational Administration from Truman State University. His early career was focused in university administration, culminating as a Vice President of Student Services. Keith began his career in executive search in 1984, when he joined a large Indianapolis search firm, where he later became the Director over the Retained Search Division. Leadership roles have included: Association for Manufacturing Excellence (Chairman), Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors), and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
